Location
Although our postal address is Lansallos, we
are actually located in the hamlet of Peakswater, which is over two
miles away from the village along narrow winding roads.
Directions
By Road
Route A - The most direct route
Enter
Cornwall on the A38 over the Tamar bridge, and from the Tamar Bridge
continue on the A38 (signed Bodmin), past Liskeard (do not turn off the
dual carriageway) until you come to the village of Dobwalls.
At
the roundabout at the far end of Dobwalls turn left on to the A390
(signed St. Austell), and continue on this road to the village of East
Taphouse, at the far end of this village turn left on to the B3359
(signed Looe and Polperro).
Follow this road for 4.3 miles until you see a signpost indicating right to Lerryn, Bodinnick and Polruan.
Turn
right on to this road and continue for 2.6 miles. In the middle of a
sharp right-handed bend you will see the sign to Valleybrook Holidays
on the left by a narrow lane.
Turn left down this lane and take the next right down the lane which is signed Trenewan, Polperro, Looe and Peakswater.
Valleybrook
is about 400 yards down this lane and Reception is located opposite the
pine villas behind the cottages, about 100 yards from the entrance.
Route B - The route via Looe
Enter Cornwall on the A38 over
the Tamar bridge, and from the Tamar Bridge continue on the A38. After
approximately 7 miles take the first exit at the Trerulefoot roundabout
A374 (signed Looe and Torpoint).
1.2 miles later take the right
turning to Looe and Polperro A387 (just before an AA telephone kiosk).
Follow this road for about 8 miles to Looe. Looe is pedestrianised so
the road takes you past the Looe Health Centre and over the bridge.
Stay
on this road for 2.4 miles until you see a signpost indicating right to
Pelynt and Lanreath. Turn right on this road B3359 and continue for 3.4
miles until you see a signpost indicating left to Lerryn, Bodinnick and
Polruan.
Turn left on to this road and continue for 2.6 miles. In
the middle of a sharp right-handed bend you will see the sign to
Valleybrook Holidays on the left by a narrow lane.
Turn left down this lane and take the next right down the lane which is signed Trenewan, Polperro, Looe and Peakswater.

Getting here by Train
The
nearest station is Bodmin Parkway (20 mins drive). General Enquiries
08457 484950 . Taxis at station. Cross Country Trains - VT1 (from the North
West) and VT4 (from the North East) and First Great Western (from
London and Bristol) all serve Cornwall. Enterprise Car Hire is
available in Bodmin and will pick up guests from Bodmin Parkway.

Getting here by Air
Flights
come in to the nearest airports at Newquay or Plymouth City. Air
Southwest offers four flights a day, every day of the week, between
Plymouth, Newquay and London Gatwick. Flights from Plymouth to Gatwick
start from just £20. There are also frequent flights from Manchester,
Leeds, Bristol, Dublin, Cardiff and Jersey. Check their website for
